PicoTCA is a modular 2U, 19~ component box that supports up to 12 AMCs and one MCH (full-width, compact). The setting of the component box not only supports the communication protocols according to AMC.1Type4 (PCle and Advance switchable), AMC.2Type4 and AMC.2E2 (GbE), but also supports the AMC.3 (SAS/SATA) protocol. SAS and SATAAMC plug-in cards are connected point-to-point through the bus backplane, allowing each slot to communicate with its adjacent slots through port 2.3. The first models will support an MCH (MicroTCA carrier HUB) through the bus backplane. Forms designed according to customer needs are available upon consultation with the bus backplane.
